For the past 35 years William Abranowicz has focused mainly on travel and architectural photography, and he has collaborated with magazines such as Conde Naste Traveler, Esquire, Vogue, NYT Magazine and Architectural Digest. He has photographed extensively in Greece and the exhibit is a selection of his entire work here from 1988 until 2007. This work can be divided into two segments: one is more classic and personal, deriving from his black and white book “The Greek File”, and the other is more travel-oriented and outgoing, deriving from the colour book “Hellas, Photographs of Modern Greece”. Abranowicz’s work overflows not only with a multi – faceted technical excellence but also with a love of Greece.
