My work explores the fields of fiction and the boundaries between fiction and reality. It makes references to anticipation literature and the dystopian worlds of science fiction. In my process, I experiment with different techniques—using analog and digital manipulation in photography, 3D and video. ‘’Overflow’’ shows the visual aspects of an excess of hypercapitalism and its self-destructive tendencies in a plethora of technology and artifacts. This work is based in cities and their places of transit, the Non-Places of Marc Augé. The images were shot on the infrastructure of the city. I wanted to show these visually oversaturated environments, the continuous flow of people, media devices, artificial/man-made nature. Those images are a mapping of the acceleration in our society through a permanent technological progress.
